The service technician that supports the rent-to-rent fleet is different than the typical technician that might be in the service department where their job is to primarily repair customer's equipment and help make money for the company in the repair business. The service technicians supporting rental primary duties are preventive maintenance, and so as the machines come and go, their job is to inspect for damages, make sure that the machines are fully functional, and that the machines are topped off with fluids, basically visual inspection. They are also checking to see if the service intervals, if it's due for a particular manufacturer service. And if a machine is broken, they would probably then make out a work order and process that machine through the service department, so that the service department is really doing the real repairs, but anything that doesn't require repair goes through the hands of the service technician and then is processed back to the ready line for the rent-to-rent fleet. The delivery driver for the rent-to-rent fleet can play a very vital role in the customer experience. So your dealership may outsource transportation completely, and that's fine. If by chance the dealership can afford their own transportation team, then the truck driver becomes very vital to, again, the customer experience. So being able to communicate to the customer the safe operation of the equipment. When they pull up on a site, they're able to check and see whether the equipment that's being delivered really matches the intended work. They're kind of the last line of defense in case a customer is getting ready to do something that's maybe inappropriate with our rental equipment. And then from a quality control standpoint, when they're handing off the machine to the customer, they are explaining the current condition of the customers receiving it. And then when they go out to pick up the machine, part of their job, which is very critical, is to give a once-over on the machine, do a visual inspection. If they find anything that's damaged or missing, they write that on the ticket and they bring it to the customer's attention before the piece of equipment actually leaves the job site. Therefore, everyone is now aware that whatever these damages are or whatever's happened to the machine took place on the job and it didn't happen on its way back to your yard or possibly some other customer did the damage. The following position of yard man may be unfamiliar to many of you, but this person can play high utility and have incredible value in making things work smoothly around your dealership. They are kind of, as it says, out in the yard all day and they are assisting customers that are picking up equipment or bringing equipment back. They're assisting your own truck drivers in loading and loading. They may help a third party transportation company come and pick up equipment. When they are directly involved with the customer, they're helping the customer understand the safe operating methods for the equipment. They are staging rental equipment, so the rental coordinator works very closely with this person and telling them what's going to go out next and the yard man can go out there and pull that equipment, stage it in a place that facilitates getting it on the truck and getting it out of the yard faster. That way we don't pick the wrong machine, the truck driver's not wandering around in the yard looking for which machine am I supposed to take. The yard man helps on the returning machines by refueling them, making sure that a tag is put on those machines when they come back from rent so that it can be properly inspected. They do miscellaneous things such as maybe changing out the bucket on a piece of equipment or maybe going and retrieving an attachment that's somewhere in the yard and making sure that that is bundled with the piece of equipment that's getting ready to go out. Having a really good yard man can be incredible. It's almost like the human conveyor belt in terms of getting things in the right place at the right time and basically speeding up the process. So it's a key role in the rent-to-rent business.
